New York: Doubleday and Company, 1952. Cloth. Fair/Fair. Greenish blue cloth in unclipped jacket. 220 pp. An award winning collection of mystery stories. FAIR/GOOD condition. Heavy chipping, creasing and tearing along the jacket edges, with some loss. General fading and toning to the jacket. Minor soiling. Rear jacket a bit stained. Lower corner of the rear jacket scuffed, with superficial loss of paper. Minor fading and edgewear to the book. Minor staining/discoloration to the rear cover, with a small faint stain to the upper front. Moderate to heavy toning to the text block.
