In the original unclipped dust wrapper, uncommon to see reprints in dust wrappers..The first of Wodehouse's novels to feature Lord Emsworth of Blandings Castle, who went on to appear in many of his later works. 'Something Fresh' is a comical novel of English and American aristocracy and the servants of an English country house.Also published as 'Something New' in the U.S.The sixteenth cheap edition. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the extremities. Spine is a little faded. A few spots to the fore edge. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Edge wear to the dust wrapper, resulting in chips to the head and tail of the spine, and a few smaller chips and closed tears to the extremities of the wraps, including a closed tear to the rear joint. Light discolouration to the wraps, including spots to the reverse. A couple of small neat tape repairs to the reverse. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and and generally clean with some scattered spots. Very Good Indeed

It was first published as a book in the United States, by D. Appleton and Company on September 3 1915, under the title Something New, and in the United Kingdom by Methuen & Co. on September 16 1915.
