Good. FIRST EDITION. New York: Putnam's, 1897. Hardcover, no dust jacket (as issued?) Publisher's blue cloth and gilt decorated boards. T.e.g. Engraved frontis and 80+ additional illustrations. Harland is best known for her cookbooks but sadly no recipes are included here. Inner hinges weak or starting, prior owner signature, minor wear, soiling to covers, else good overall condition. NOT EX-LIBRARY.
