Three quarter forest green colored paper over boards with lighter green cloth around spine and gilt text on spine. Illustrated dust jacket with red and tan text on upper and spine; minor chips on head and tail of upper at flap fold; !/4" tears on upper and lower near spine. Front paste down, ffep and front advertisement pages have extensive penciled notes by former owner; many interior pages have penciled underlining and circles. This does not detract from the text but probably emphasizes some points. Binding is tight.
