My god what a childhood! afternher father died her mother remarried, moved away and left her with a naighbour who sold her to a merchant for a concubine. released by a christina mission, she was on a ship going to be trained as a nurse when it was bombed by the japanese. she survived 2 days on a raft.... the rescued by the japanese... i cant go on, its fascinating how she survived. buy it and be glad your childhood was good..
