About This Item
London: Michael Joseph, 1952. First edition, first printing. Published by Michael Joseph in London, 1952. This is very good copy. The dust wrapper, designed by D. Knight, has some wear to note. There are various closed tears along the top edge, most notably at the head and foot of the spine. There are handling marks and slight toning throughout. It has been price clipped. The pictorial paper-covered boards are also slightly foxed and toned, though free from any pressing wear. The text blocks are slightly foxed throughout. The author's signature is flat signed to the front fly leaf in blue ink. Overall, this is a very good copy. A charming tale of the life of a snowflake.
