First English edition. "Snow White is a tall dark beauty who wears black vinyl pajamas and has a great many beauty spots". With fabulous Beardsley-esque jacket design by British artist Christopher Bradbury. Single volume (85 x 125 mm), pp. [8], 180, [2]. Bound in original publisher's black cloth, spine stamped in gold, upper edge rouged, in original illustrated dust jacket, price-clipped. Contemporary ink inscription to front flyleaf. Internally fine, extremities bumped with minor wear, sunning, dust soiling to jacket. Very good. Stock ref. 1833
