About This Item
London: Andre Deutsch, 1955. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. The "First Published 1955" statement is present on the verso of the title page, with no other printings noted. The front and rear end papers have darkened slightly, but there are no signatures or marks, and very few signs of previous use. The red cloth covers are bright, again with minimal wear. The gilt spine lettering has dulled. The dust jacket is not corner clipped, and is also in very good condition, with some darkening to the spine, and light wear and handling. A very nice copy. The attached scan should give a better idea of condition.
