Illustrated end pages, title page chapter decorations and the decorations within the text of all been drawn by Margaret Horder. Gray coloured boards with self embossed decoration to the front panel and silver coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper (wraparound), again by Margaret Horder, with black and pale purple coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. A story of young children learning to appreciate their different life styles. The city girl learning what it is like to live on a sheep station, and, the country boy learning about the sea and sailing. Softening and signing of the back strip edges rubbing of the book corners and sunning of the book edges. Browning and patchy fading of the panels with faint foxing to the top book edges. Foxing spots throughout. Gift inscription to the top edge of the free front page. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. There are small splits to the top and bottom front corners and to all corners of the back strip. Some tears in splits to the dustwrapper edges. Sunning, rubbing and fading to the dustwrapper.
