About This Item
Simon and Schuster 1956 (1st US). Hardcover. Near Fine. First edition, first impression. This book is from the personal collection of Dr Dennis Krikler 1928-2016 who was one of the UKs most eminent cardiologists. This book bears his signature on the inside front cover with address and dated December 8th, 1956. Also signed at the bottom of the front pastedown by Jordan Marsh who owned the World famous department store that was eventually bought out by Macy's. Not a clue why he has signed it, unless it was bought from the store. Except for a small stain to bottom page edges and sl. softening to spine extrmities this is a lovely bright book. The jacket has slwear to top and bottom of spine. Near Fine in a Very Good d/w (NOT price-clipped)
