Octavo, brown cloth with paper title label on spiine, top edge gilt and other edges untrimmed. 118 pp. Each novel has 24 monotone plates in each plus frontispiece in green, purple, rose, black and white, sepia, as the case may be. A sound copy with mostly unblemished interior, (no marks, signatures, undrelinings etc.) with worn corners to boards and wear along spine edge. Title label darkened and creased. Very good minus. A very uncommon edition of Flaubert in English..
