New York: Macmillan, 1953. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The first printing of the first US edition. Original blue cloth hard covers with red titles to spine and Puddleglum vignette to front, no jacket. Moderate rubbing and shelf-wear to extremities and edges of covers. Edges and endpapers mildly toned. One leaf ha a turn-in crease to the upper corner. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a sound and handsome copy. .
