New York: E.P. Dutton, 1980. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Signed by Author(s). Book has a bit of bumping to head and tail of spine as well as fore edge corners. Pages are unmarked and binding is tight. Dust jacket has a few tiny chips at head and tail of spine. Moderate sized drip spot on lower edge of front surface. Light general surface soiling and age toning. Not price clipped. DJ has been place in an archival mylar cover. Stated first edition with full number line, 1980. Inscribed by author with recipient's name in whimsical block letters along with a bird & stars, similar in style to the dust jacket. The author's account of her precarious existence during the two years she has been in a state of remission from Hodgkin's disease, which she was diagnosed as having at the age of twenty-nine, focuses on her experiences as a divorced, single parent and a Christian.
