About This Item
Full leather calf binding with decorative gilt embossing along front, rear boards, & along spine. Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, London, England. Some fading and soiling is visible on exterior. Pages gilt on all edges. Pencil inscription stating "2 vols in 1," written by previous owner on flyleaf, minor underlining in pencil in table of contents. Spine is showing wear and beginning to crack at head and tail along the edges with the boards (see photos), otherwise this is a nice and clean binding in very good condition.
