Austin, Texas: Madrona Press, 1974. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Shaw, Charles. Signed on half-title page by both author, Toepperwein, and illustrator, noted and prolific Texas artist, Charles Shaw. Oblong format, 9-1/4"W X 8-1/4"H. 101 pp. Short articles about notorious gunfighters, each illustrated by Shaw. Book has slight right lean black cloth boards have very slight warp. Bright, crisp and clean copy. Dust jacket is heavy quality paper - bright red with black print and yellow and black graphics. Light rubbing shows on flap folds and hinges. Edges have a little chipping wear, and top of front panel has two closed tears, one 1/2" and the other 1-1/4" tear. Rear panel has 1/4" closed tear on bottom edge. Now in protective cover. Nice copy and signed by both author and illustrator.
