Presentation copy to a person with the added words "for old times sake" and signed by Shirley. "Jim Miller was probably the most dangerous man in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico during the declining years of western frontier violence." He was lynched in Ada, Oklahoma, in 1909. Fine in a price-clipped but fine dj. Very scarce in signed copies.
