Hardcover without jacket, as issued, in olive-green embossed cloth boards that are quite clean, with black checkered border, with gilt title panel on front still bright, same on spine with black lettering & decorations but not so bright on spine. Corners lightly scuffed, spine head and heel worn, wrinkled, scuffed. Monotone Frontispiece. Inner hinge cracked. Sewn binding tight and solid. Pages are toned, quite clean and free from any markings, no tears, no creases., lightly toned. Twelve short stories: The Brigade Commander by J.W.DeForest; Who Was She? by Bayard Taylor; The Denver Express by A.A.Hayes; In Each Other's Shoes by George Lathrop; and others. Pages 335-687. 8.25" x 5.5". 1905, P. F. Collier & Son, New York.
