The author was a sports reporter assigned to cover the Boston Celtics for the 1977-78 season where he was traveling, eating, and almost living with the squad. Based on his diary, he takes the reader inside the locker rooms, restaurants, hotels, and players' homes recording their feelings, problems, jokes and relationships. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
