London: Privately Published, 1833. 1st Edition . Good. 5.5 x 8.75 inches (13.5 x 22 cm). First printing. Privately published by the author. Brown blind stamped cloth binding with gilt title to spine. Wear to ends of spine and corners of boards with slight loss to cloth. Decorative endpapers with some cracking to joints. Binding a little loose but sound. Light foxing to text. Complete with all 24 engraved plates and engraved title page. Plates browned and have some foxing plus a few notes in purple pencil. Attractive inscription to leading blank (John James Robinson, Thorp Hall, Waterloo, 1834). A scarce early shorthand guide that predates Pitman. Overall condition is Good. Size: 5.5 x 8.75 inches (13.5 x 22 cm). Hardback
