No. 188 of 360 numbered copies printed on handmade paper, signed by Eric Parker to the limitations page, with the etched frontispiece signed by Winifred Austen, in a full morocco binding with gilt detailing to the boards and spine including the gilt crest of Lonsdale Library to the front board. Illustrated with 75 plates. Collated, complete. The third volume of The Lonsdale Library of Sports, Games & Pastimes, edited by The Right Hon. The Earl of Lonsdale and Eric Parker. This illustrated work includes advice on equipment, the training of dogs, and how to shoot different kinds of game, from a variety of authors. In a full morocco binding. Externally smart, with fading to the spine and rubbing to the joints and extremities. Hinges have been reinforced. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with spotting to the fore edge, affecting the occasional page. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
