London: Smith, Elder and Co, 1849. First Edition. Very Good. First Edition. Three volumes bound in somewhat contemporary three-quarter vellum over cloth. Very Good with former owner bookplates to front pastedowns and bookseller tickets to rear pastedowns, foxing, several pages repaired with tape. Staining to covers of volume III, with several preliminary and terminal pages stained at the edges as well.
