Ex-library: stamped on front free endpaper and title page verso: "Withdrawn, Public Library Brookline." Perforated stamp on lower title page and top edge of p. 11: "Public Library Brookline Mass." The friendship between the American actress and painter Molly Tompkins and George Bernard Shaw as presented in his letters to her and her reminiscences about him. Book is in Very Good- Condition: ex-library: call number in white at tail of spine on book, and stamps as described above; back endpapers are scraped; back hinge starting; pages are clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Very Good- Condition: call number in white at tail of spine on dust jacket; back section lightly soiled; otherwise, clean and bright.
