Synopsis

Sharpe's Revenge is chronologically the twenty-first novel in the series written by Bernard Cornwell and published in 1989. Unusually for a Sharpe novel the majority of its events take place during peacetime, with the Peninsular War ending (as true to historical events) less than a third of the way into the book.
