Rebound by Paul Delrue in quarter leather with antique cloth covering boards, new green end papers, gilt logo "The Shakspere Flora" on red cloth from original cover inserted on front pastedown, top edge gilt, hand-sewn silk head and foot bands; original loose tissue guard to frontispiece. Grindon's most accomplished work, in which he analyses every reference to plants in the works of Shakespeare - and there are lots, as the names alone occupy 12 columns of closely printed type in the index. xii, 327 pp., includes index of subscribers to large paper edition.
