About This Item

New York: Harper & Row, 1973. Book. Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First printing with full number line. Fine/fine The text block is solid, square with a little bit of penciling annotations, very minimal. Endpapers are clear of markings with NO previous owner's signature. Spine tight and tips pointed, gingerly read. A small amount of foxing to text block edges. The dust jacket has a quarter inch divot on the back top and is price clipped with tiny fray at some tips and edges. Looks dashing in its shiny new plastic cover. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping. Steve Sohmer, a Shakespearian scholar, offers recent support (2019) for Rowse's Dark Lady theory first presented in this volume. .
