Dark brown coloured boards with gilt writing on the spine. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing a map of the world, overlaid with pink and red wash, with white background with black writing on the front panel and spine. The top edge of the text block is foxed, and the dust jacket is rubbed and chipped, with a short tear at the top of the rear panel/spine crease, and a repaired 1.0 inch tear central to the bottom edge of the front panel. . A look at the rise of Hitler and the effects of the fall of the regime on the German people by a German scholar. Translated from the German by Betty Ross. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
