Long out-of-print & scarce, this is a comprehensive guide to the microfilm collection of 18th & 19th century writings in a wide array of scholarly fields, including social histories, city guidebooks, dictionaries, art books, romances, & sociological/psychological/medical treatises on rape, incest, venereal disease, homosexuality, etc, cataloging a total of 120 reels of microfilm. Selections represent the older material held at the Kinsey Institute for Sex Research Library at Indiana University. In v + 130 pp. Hardcover 4to has burgundy cloth over boards lettered in bright gilt to front & spine. Condition is Near Fine: essentially a brand new book, just removed from storage where it was placed new following review upon publication in 1983, but it has suffered a ding to upper spine, with slight cloth loss. Else, completely clean & bright, binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages white & unmarked. No DJ, as issued.
