DJ has gold background at top front, spine top and back, color-illustration from medieval painting at bottom front and spine, small b/w photo of Tannahill at top back right, praise for Food in History on back from New York Times, Newsweek, Kirkus Review and others. DJ has tiny tear at bottom front tip, light crease at top front, tiny tear and microtear at spine top edge, micronicks and very slight wear to spine bottom edge, 1/2" tear and very tiny tear at top back edge, tiny tear at top back edge as well, very slight wear to bottom back edge. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
