Cassell and Company, limited. London, Toronto, Melbourne, and Sydbey, 1947. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Very Good-. First Australian edition. The volume is bumped on the spine tail and bottom front corner, with the boards exposed on the corner. The volume is lightly canted and the text leaves are quite toned. The sleeved, unpriced dust jacket is chipped on the corners and spine ends (greatest depth is 3/8" near the top rear spine joint), rubbed with edge creasing, and is perimeter and spine toned.
