an 1865, Professionaly bound in Hubbed Quarter Leather Binding, of "Transactions of the Exeter Diocesan Architectural Society" This came from an estate in Aiken, South Carolina. This contains the Pedigree of the Gibbs family and the spine of the leather has this in gold gilt. The original wraps of the Transactions is intact internally. This contains lots of woodblock prints and black and white plates. Title page states that this is Volume 1 Part II Second Series. These were not intended for general publication but a copy was furnished to each member whose subscription was not in arrears. It contains The Parish of Clyt S. George, Statue of S. Peter, Annual Report June 12, 1863, pedigree of the family Gibbs, A paper on Powderham Castle, mural decorations of the church of S.
