London: The Falcon Press, 1948. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Illustrated dust-jacket designed by G.N. Fish, not price-clipped, some chipping and little closed tears along the top edge, and to the spine foot but otherwise clean and bright though some discoloration to the cream back, now in clear protective sleeve. Book bound in vivid orange cloth with gilt title, clean bright and square. Hinge firm, no inscriptions, end papers have darkened patches, pages lightly age toned but no spotting or foxing, smooth and clean. A very well preserved book.
