About This Item

Faber & Faber, 1977. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 224 pages (complete). A healthy, gratifying copy of this memoir from Cecil Parrott, who as (and after) Ambassador to Prague became entranced (as can be without going native) with Czech literature and culture. The dustjacket is sure. It has some scuffing, wear. The boards are neat. The contents are fresh, very clean and clear, congenial and amiable, at times even dramatic. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
