London: James Parkers and Co.. Fair with no dust jacket. 1872. Hardcover. xvi + 492 pp. + ads. Original brown blindstamped cloth board covers are worn at edges, rubbed corners, backstrip with gilt is lifting, heavily chipped at top/bottom spine, joints cracking. Interior end papers very foxed, hinges starting, title page has owner inscript of Rev. W. Henry Wadleigh, presumably he of the Anglican church in Hamilton, Ontario. There are small pencil check marks and notes throughout, otherwise text is clean, book block is fairly sturdy. Aged (this is a real 1872 edition, not a modern one), still usable. ; 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall .
