New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1957. First Edition. Hardcover. Near fine/very good. hardcover, 312 pages. INSCRIBED and signed by Merrill on the title page in 1992. Minor bumping to spinal extremites, a few spots to the gray top stain, still a near fine copy with clean text and tight binding in a very good dust jacket (spine lightly sunned, minor edge wear). Protected in mylar. Merrill's first novel.
