About This Item

London: Bodley Head, 1979. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. This book looks almost new. The interior is clean and crisp, showing no marks or wear. The green covers are fresh, with light wear at edges and corners, and one ding at the bottom of the front cover. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is also in excellent condition, with just a bit of folding at the top of the spine. The attached scan gives a better idea of the jacket`s condtion. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: Ìn this adventure, Stephen Chance goes back to an earlier stage of Septimus`s career. The setting is World War II, and Septimus has been summoned by Counter-Intelligence to handle a very delicate and important assignment. The details of a top secret radar device have fallen into enemy hands, and Septimus`s mission is to discover how this has happened and to prevent any further leaks at all costs.
