London: The Bodley Head, 1963. First edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good Indeed. 8" by 5". None. A scarce uncorrected proof copy of this collection of Graham Green's short stories. This is a first edition softcover with dustwrapper. These stories are the first time Greene departs from his usual material of moral and political issues, and instead explores fantasy and myth. There is a signed compliment slip from the publishers inserted into the front of the volume. In a paper binding in an unclipped dustwrapper in an acetate protective covering. Externally, very smart. Minor shelfwear to the boards. Dustwrapper is smart with minor edgewear only. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
Synopsis
Graham Greene was born in 1904. He worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the Foreign Office. He died in April 1991.
