Good: covers scuffed and worn, bleedthrough from scrap p. 179, light foxing with damp stain on rear corner, no markings noticed.

Sudbury: J. Wright. Very worn leather covers, chipping on spine ends, piece of leather approx. 2x3" peeling off back board. Front hinge broken, cover still attached by string. End papers browned. Binding stiff, cracking(?), pages good. (Smith, I:878). Sarah Grubb of Sudbury, in Suffolk, was the daughter of Mason and Hannah Lynes, and was born at Wapping, London, in 1773. Her father was by trade a block and mast maker. In the year 1803, she was united in marriage with John Grubb. She died in 1842 at the age of 69 and had been a minister 52 years. . Fair+.
