Jacket with an illustration depicting a Southern scene by Paul Galdone. --- In Toledano spine 12 / green cloth / blindstamped ml cover device / gilt-stamped spine titling / tan Kent endpapers / jacket style l, verso is blank. Likely published c.1967 (though 1966 date appears in book). ML #290.1. --- A Good-only copy, with frequent underlinings and markings in red ink, and a diagonally-clipped front free endpaper, otherwise clean and tightly-bound. Unclipped jacket ($1.95) with several small tears to edges, else bright, intact and in removable, archival mylar protector.; 12mo (7 to 7-1/2 in. tall) ; xxiii, 289, 214 pages .
