Very Good HC in fine binding, no DJ. Cream and tan pseudo-marbled paper over boards backed and fore corners with fine black calf; 5 raised bands on spine with gilt title and 5 gilt fleurons in panels; top edge gilt; end papers in same pseudo-marbled paper with pale blue spots; tissue-guarded title page engraving. Bright, clean covers and spine; lightly rubbed at fore corners and spine ends; tightly bound; some foxing on front free end paper verso thru title page and on rear free end paper recto and fly sheet; owner name, inscription and date (1888) on front fly sheet; interior very clean, apparently unread with many leaves unopened at fore edges. Now in protective mylar. 16mo, 235 pp.
