Aesop's Classic Fables beautifully illustrated in Colour with 2 to 6 pictures to a page and some text beneath each illustration. Undated Edition, gift inscription on fep dasted 1896. Grey cloth-covered boards with 2 colour illustration of characters from the fables on the front. Red and Black lettering. Landscape format, 10 1/2" x 9". 570g. Slight edge wear, tips of bottom corners worn. Hinges sound but binding cracked between free endpapers and text block. Binding cracked again near middle of book with 1 page loose. No other inscriptions.
