About This Item
Washington, DC: United States Geological Survey/USGS/Government Printing Office/GPO, 1972. Soft cover. Land mapping, seismic profiles, cuttings from 51 holes drilled offshore by the U.S. Bureau of Mines, and 700 surface sediment samples show that during times of lowered sea level, glaciers pushed auriferous debris as much as 5 kilometers beyound the present shorline of Seward Peninsula and nearly to the center of Chirikov Basin from Siberia's Chukotka Peninsula. 27 pages with maps, tables, charts and references, plus the required fine folded map in the rear pocket. Bound in original light gray paper covers with printing in black Light fade around the edges and several small numbers writted on the front cover. A very good plus copy.
