Tauchnitz edition of Wells's minor medical novel first published in 1922 and focusing on the effects of nervous exhaustion on the protagonist's career. Published as Tauchnitz Collection of British and American Authors Vol. 4699, first state with ads dated August, 1925. TODD & BOWDEN 4699a.
