Orange illustrated paste-downs and endpapers are clean. Interior book list on second endpaper lists to this title (Pirates Hill). Frontispiece, title, text, illustrated pages are clean except for 6 pages that have dime sized soil spot in center of page, text is still visible. Nice tight binding. Wrap around color illustrated dust jacket shows edgewear and is lightly chipped at corners. Upper spine has a quarter inch chip missing from left spine corner and a one inch triangular chip missing on the right side, which takes out the E in The and the E and T in the title word Secret. Lowr spine is lightly chipped as well. One inch creased closed tear to lower left front corner. Small quarter inch round rubbed spot and two smaller ones on front cover below and around the PI in the title word PIRATE. Outer edge of front cover is noticeably rubbed at crease. Front flyleaf lists to Secret of Pirates Hill and has 100/100 price code in upper corner. Rear flyleaf lists to Tom Corbett, "The Robot Rocket". Back cover lists Tom Swift Jr. to # 9 - Tom Swift on the Phantom Satellite. Desirable copy in protective mylar.
