New York 1931 first edition (stated) Harcourt Brace. Hardcover. Two-page preface by Mary Steichen Martin. Hardcover. Square octavo, 24 fullpage photo illustrations (printed on rectos only), pinkish cloth with darker pink lettering on front. VG, some light soiling on rear board, light discoloration on cover cloth; slight toning around outer edge of text pages but almost no wear at all; hinges not cracked at all. No owner marks. no DJ. In later removable protective glassine dj. Pictures available on request. .
