London: The Jewish Historical Society of England., [1936]. 29pp, [3]. Single photographic plate of the platform from which the original speech was delivered. Publisher's wraps within publisher's red cloth, gilt. A near fine copy with only the slighest of wear to extremities. Presentation copy, inscribed in ink to the FEP 'With Gustave Tuck's Kind Remembrances, to Frank G. Salisbury Esq. 27 - 1 - 36'. The lecture itself includes extensive references to the Middle-East situation of the interwar years, and votes of thanks include references to the chairman Sir Ronald Storrs, and even T.E. Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom, which had been published in the same year as the lecture was delivered. . First Edition. Quarto.
