Back free endpaper and pastedown depict a photograph of Opening Day, 1958 in the Los Angeles Coliseum. Contributing authors include Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Grover Cleveland Alexander, Whitey Ford and Birdie Tebbetts, Zane Gray, and many other writers, poets, and sports journalists.
