Small (3" x 5") leather-bound volume with gold decorative border on front and back cover, burgundy title block on spine, with gold lettering. About 1" of wear at spine fold, a little wear on corners. Marbled endpapers, edges marbled. B&W frontis illustration with tissue guard, b&w illustration on title page. 10 pages biography of the author, followed by "The Seasons" and "Hymn" and "ode on the Death of Mr. Thomson". 152 pages. All pages clear and bright. No date, neat gift inscription on black endpaper, dated 1804. Ribbon marker.
