anne mather has long been one of my favorite authors,but this book was not.what was wrong with this guy?did he have a fetish for young girls.he lusted after her when she was just 16,he 6 yrs older,taking her virginity.now at39,he is engaged to a 24 yr old.and to have so arrogantly accepted that it wasnt his son when he knew she had been a virgin,and calling her "oversexed",only seem like he needed an excuse to get off the hook.there are men who even if they have some doubts,will still love the child because they love the mother,not to coldheartedl ignore them for years.he just seemed like a wimpy mother's boy.and she was not so smart either.why would you brag to his mother that you slept with him,when she thinks you a tramp?it is indicative of so many womens' thinking,that you are irresistible.no,it is just a man lusting.and if you are willing?of course he will take.after 10 yrs,it was so easy for him to get her back into bed.come on.where is the selfrespect.i think there are times the writers try to confuse us with romance and the sex appeal of the men too much without giving thought to negative messages that are being sent.you cant tell me these people live happily ever after when they havent had one proper conversation with the man respecting the woman and not just rolling her into bed.
