About This Item

London: William Heinemann Ltd., 1941. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is clean and tight, showing little wear. There is a gift inscription to a former owner (Christmas 1941), but no other marks. The blue cloth covers are also in very good condition, with a bit of wear to edges and corners, but no major problems. The gilt spine lettering has dulled. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and shows a bit of edgewear, but no tears or nicks. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
