Illustrated with numerous b/w plates and other line drawings in the text. Edited by His Grace the (Eighth) Duke of Beaufort. Part of the Badminton Library. Original pictorial cloth with gilt embossed picture to the spine of the book. Some light bubbling of the cloth where the rear boards and spine join. Light rubbing and light soiling to the boards. Slight spine lean. Slight foxing to the fore edges. Slight splitting along the front inner hinge. Very occasional soil mark to the odd page at the periphery. Otherwise a well preserved copy and clean interiorly. Tight and in very good condition.
